The Wishing Moon is a novel written by Louise Dutton. The book tells the story of a young girl named Olivia who is sent to live with her grandmother in a small village in England after her mother dies. Olivia is grieving the loss of her mother and struggling to adjust to her new life in the village. However, she soon discovers that the village is not like any other place she has ever been to before. The villagers believe in the power of the wishing moon, a mysterious object that appears in the sky once a year. They believe that if they make a wish on the moon, it will come true. Olivia is skeptical at first, but she soon discovers that there may be some truth to the legend. As she begins to make her own wishes on the moon, she finds that they are coming true. However, she soon realizes that there is a dark side to the wishing moon, and that her wishes may have consequences that she never could have imagined. The Wishing Moon is a magical and enchanting novel that explores the power of belief and the consequences of our actions. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
