Introduction: Pelvic organ prolapse is a frequent functional pathology with psychological, social and physiological repercussions.The aim of our work is to assess the quality of life of patients after genital prolapse cure by promontofixation.1 stChapter 1: MethodologyA cross-sectional analytical study covering a ten-year period from 2012 to 2022, of patients operated on for genital prolapse at the gynecology department of Monastir-Tunisia.Chapter 2: Results The age range most concerned is between 50 and 70 years. The most frequently reported functional sign was the sensation of an intra-vaginal ball (89.5%). Urinary and digestive symptoms are also common. Sexual dysfunction is frequently associated with prolapse.Chapter 3: DiscussionOur work has confirmed the benefit of promontofixation in terms of quality of life and sexuality, according to 2 measurement tools: the Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory (PFDI 20) self-questionnaire and the Pelvic Organ Prolaps/Urinary Incontinence Sexual Questionnaire (PISQ-12).Conclusion: Promontofixation has proved its efficacy with a number of patients.
