This little book is a close reading of the great woman of Shunem. Why did God put the story of her life in 2 Kings yet did not even tell us her name? What kind of woman was she that she had God's protection and favor? What can we learn from her to apply in our own lives? These are some of the questions I asked God as I meditated and studied what God had to say about this great woman. I found that each of us tell the world a lot about ourselves and our relationships in the simple things we chose to do and say every day. We all have our own story. I doubt very much that this woman ever thought or considered that people in the future would read her life story and learn from her. She was just living out her life and what she believed. This book is about what I learned about and from this amazing woman.
