The Range Dwellers is a western novel written by B.M. Bower. The story is set in the early 1900s in the American West, and follows the lives of two ranchers, Yellin' Kid and Patches, who are constantly at odds with each other. When a newcomer, Nort, arrives in the area, he becomes entangled in their feud and must navigate the dangerous and unpredictable world of the range dwellers. Along the way, Nort falls in love with a local girl, and the three men find themselves facing a common enemy. The novel explores themes of loyalty, honor, and the struggle for survival in a harsh and unforgiving landscape. With vivid descriptions of the rugged terrain and the characters' daily lives, The Range Dwellers offers a thrilling glimpse into the Wild West.1906. Bower authored several Westerns including Cabin Fever and The Flying U Ranch. The Range Dwellers begins: Im something like the old maid you read about-the one who always knows all about babies and just how to bring them up to righteous maturity; Ive got a mighty strong conviction that I know heaps that my dad never thought of about the proper training for a healthy male human. I dont suppose Ill ever have a chance to demonstrate my wisdom, but, if I do, there are a few things what wont happen to my boy.
