The times and governments in office at times were sometimes seen from the ecclesiastical authority as better or worse according to the Catholic doctrine, depending on their actions. At the same time, the governments also had their own agenda and position before the social and political needs of the country. It is important to consider that history continues to be reconstructed as documents and voices emerge, also in the oral tradition that point out, reaffirm or demystify facts, characters, covert and related actions. It is not discarded, in this case, to know in the future new revelations in the relations of the State and the Roman Catholic Church in Chile in this period as in others.
