After a few pages of the author's beautifully constructed work, children are going to feel much better, whilst also viewing their negative emotions differently. This will help them in the future should the feelings recur. Help your child today by reading this wonderful book with them. Sadness is a Dark Cloud (Emotion Series) was a pleasure to read. Any young reader is going to benefit from it in some way. I found it extremely useful when teaching children about emotions and what they can do to get over the bad patches. It explains the ideas simply so that children will readily pick up on the information the author has provided. As an adult who is currently experiencing a dark cloud, I found the book helpful and it even made me feel better, so think of how much good it could do for a child. The illustrations are cute and grab the reader's attention. I enjoyed every page Lauren Martin has written and I hope she continues to produce more educational content for children.
