One of my favorite places because I visited often when I had a girlfriend there in my college days. And since my family originated in Charleston, I've always had a fondness for the Charleston-Savannah rivalry for Best Historic Southern Town.We had been to Charleston the previous year, and used the Delaplaine guide for that trip, which turned out so nicely, we thought we'd try the one he wrote for Savannah.
