Two years after Dog leaves to venture into the portal, life is going pretty good for Kitty. She lives in a nice, small cabin with her family. But as always, things start getting crazy when Daniel comes to visit. He meets a strange girl who offers to help him look for Dog, and he thinks that they'll be in and out of the portal quickly, then come back heroes after finding him. Meanwhile, Kitty struggles with the possibility that Daniel has died, and it doesn't help that the Master keeps bothering her about some being of unimaginable strength that could end the whole world.
