Lieutenant Randall is a decent, above-average homicide cop. The really interesting characters in this novel are the suspects. The investigators are interesting and well-developed, but the mystery unfolds around the people attending the session.- I saw all the red flags. I even identified them, but I didn't solve it. Good mystery, and a good solution!- I've never read a mystery novel like this: it involves so much talk about sex but has no explicit sex scenes. Fascinating!- The character development and the smooth writing style leave nothing to be desired. I loved the first book in the series, but this one is even better!
