Antonio Muñoz MolinaClaudio is a Spanish professor living in Pittsburgh who, due to inclement weather, has a trip to Buenos Aires delayed. At the airport he meets Marcelo, an open-minded executive who tells him about his own experience, years ago, in a hotel in the Argentine capital: there he met Carlota, a fantastic woman who awakened deep feelings in him. Soon Claudio will find himself at the doors of the old Buenos Aires hotel, the scene of his waiting companion's fantasies.
