Nuestra intención con este libro es traer al pueblo de Dios de vuelta a los propósitos misioneros de Dios. El corazón misionero y la vida misionera son juzgados, vistos y apreciados del modo en que Dios los juzga, los ve y los aprecia. Nuestro Dios tiene el corazón misionero y de ÉL proviene la vida misionera. Cada misión está, por tanto, conectada con el corazón de Dios.
Nuestro segundo objetivo es producir personas impacientes, las cuales no se queden tranquilas hasta que los propósitos misioneros de Dios para esta generación sean llevados a cabo. Deseamos producir personas que vean el mundo como Dios lo ve, personas que vivan diariamente involucradas en las necesidades misioneras de Dios; personas que sueñen con el campo de la misión de Dios durante la noche y que trabajen en asegurar el acometer los propósitos misioneros de Dios durante todo el día.
Como tercer y último objetivo, deseamos compartir con el mundo ésto que el Señor ha estado haciendo en nuestros corazones, vidas y ministerios desde hace ya unos años.
Esto hacemos, con la esperanza de que muchos puedan salir como misioneros, con corazones apropiados y vidas apropiadas, equilibradas para un permanente y fructífero trabajo. Cada misionero, que sale por la comisión del Señor, sale en busca de frutos. Éste sale en pos del negocio de hacer discípulos, éxito que el Señor ha asegurado
