Presentamos un nuevo recopilatorio de articulos inéditos del célebre y siempre controvertido pensador tradicionalista italiano Julius Evola. Abarcando un periodo que comprende prácticamente la mitad de su vida intelectual, 1929-1974, nos centramos en aquella parte de su obra consagrada a sus ideas y reflexiones acerca de la monarquía, la aristocracia o la idea de élite.
En este volumen se rastrean las principales contribuciones evolianas al pensamiento aristocrático a través de publicaciones como La Torre (1930), o a las publicaciones periódicas La Nobiltà della Stirpe (1933), Rivolta Ideale (1953) y el diario La Stampa (1943) entre otros muchos periódicos, revistas y medios de su época.
Invocando principios de carácter metafísico, el Maestro Romano reivindica la Monarquía tomando como referencia simbólica y sagrada elementos propios de la Tradición Romana, que se yergue como la principal fuente de su legitimidad. La recuperación de las fuentes originarias y primordiales de la noción de rey, verdadera aristocracia y pensamiento de élite entran en contraste con el mundo moderno, con una concepción devaluada y venida a menos de nociones que entrañaban un verdadero crisma espiritual en el modelo de sociedad tradicional. El lema que mejor resume la postura evoliana es aquella de rey es quien nada teme, que aparece como punto de inflexión para recuperar todo un legado de herencias y poderes socavados.
