Esta es la primera versión en español del libro Nuevos Elementos Esenciales del Pensamiento de Unificación publicado en inglés en el año 2006. Es el texto definitivo en el que su autor, el Dr. Sang Hun Lee, sistematiza el pensamiento del Dr. Sun Myung Moon desde una perspectiva filosófica.
Hoy dÃa vivimos en un mundo cambiante en continua evolución. El comunismo se desmoronó, pero la filosofÃa materialista que niega a Dios aún sigue existiendo adoptando diversas formas y manifestaciones. Además, la teorÃa de la evolución, que niega cualquier idea de diseñador o Dios, sigue siendo hoy ampliamente aceptada como una verdad cientÃfica objetiva.

En este contexto de una precaria situación cultural y social, la publicación de este texto tiene una gran importancia.
El Pensamiento de Unificación se designa también como Pensamiento Central o Diosismo. El Pensamiento Central pretende unir las ideologÃas de izquierdas y de derechas y armonizar el materialismo con el idealismo. El Diosismo intenta abrazar y unir a todas las religiones a través de clarificar los atributos esenciales de Dios, la manera cómo Dios diseño y creó el universo, y las leyes naturales universales que rigen la realidad natural y social. El Pensamiento de Unificación muestra un camino práctico para que se pueda establecer un mundo pacÃfico, en el que todos los seres humanos puedan vivir juntos como una gran familia unida de corazón con Dios.
