La Palabra de La Cruz es un material de estudio ministerial basado en el texto del capÃtulo 6 de la epÃstola a los Hebreos. En este capÃtulo se definen un total de ocho conjuntos de temas doctrinales que por la forma de cómo el escritor los expone en relación al crecimiento y madurez espiritual de quienes han estado expuestos al Evangelio, se advierte que todas ellas fueron en un momento el texto sistemático de la doctrina de los apóstoles.
Esta doctrina conocida entre los residentes de Jerusalén, de Judea y aun de Samaria, como el Evangelio del Reino, dentro de las comunidades gentiles fue definida como locura, debido claro está, a que no apelaba a la razón lógica como fundamento de operación, sino a la fe, y ésta en el nombre de Jesús.
Porque no me envió Cristo a bautizar, sino a predicar el evangelio: no en sabidurÃa de palabras, porque no sea hecha vana la cruz de Cristo. Porque la palabra de la cruz es locura a los que se pierden; mas a los que se salvan, es a saber, a nosotros, es potencia de Dios. 1ra. Corintios 1:17-18
La Palabra de la cruz no consistÃa solo en la proclamación de Jesús, varón aprobado por Dios, crucificado y resucitado; tal y como se cita en la epÃstola a los Hebreos, consistÃa en,
la doctrina de Cristo, o la palabra del comienzo,
vamos adelante a la perfección;
no echando otra vez el fundamento del arrepentimiento de obras muertas,
y de la fe en Dios,
De la doctrina de bautismos,
y de la imposición de manos,
y de la resurrección de los muertos,
y del juicio eterno.
No es solamente una forma de nombrar, o de definir; la Palabra de la cruz es potencia de Dios, es el consejo de Dios para que aquellos que no han estado expuestos -ni conocen- la Ley de Moisés, para que creyendo en la promesa de salvación dada a Abraham puedan constituirse en un solo pueblo junto a aquellos a los cuales se les confió la Palabra de Dios. La Palabra de la cruz es la supereminente grandeza de su poder para con nosotros los que creemos, es la potencia de su fortaleza que habita en nosotros.
Asà que, más que un material de estudio ministerial, La Palabra de La Cruz es un material de introducción a los temas de la salvación, tal y como se predicó en los primeros años de fundación de la Iglesia; un material para conocer los fundamentos del Evangelio del Reino en el cual hemos creÃdo y aceptado por la fe.
