No hay personas comunes y corrientes. Usted

Créalo o no, nadie es igual a usted. Su apariencia fÃsica, su voz y los rasgos de su personalidad--costumbres, inteligencia, gustos personales--hacen de usted una creación exclusiva. Hasta sus huellas digitales lo distinguen de todos los demás seres humanos pasados, presentes o futuros. Usted no es el producto de alguna lÃnea de montaje cósmica.
Pero el aspecto más importante de su identidad es que Dios lo creó a su propia imagen (Génesis 1:27). El lo hizo de modo que usted pueda participar en su creación, asà como amar y reÃr, y conocer a Dios cara a cara. Usted es de veras una persona importante!
La Biblia revela cómo Dios se interesa en usted como persona. El salmista escribió en una de sus más hermosas oraciones: Te alabaré; porque formidables, maravillosas son tus obras (Salmo 139:14). Dios lo conocÃa aun antes que usted naciera. Entonces, y ahora, el tiene planes para usted, concebidos con amor.
A medida que apreciamos el constante interés de Dios por nosotros, comenzamos a comprender cuán horrible es el pecado. El nos ama muchÃsimo a usted y a mÃ; sin embargo, con demasiada frecuencia hacemos lo que nos parece, dándole a Dios la espalda. Por eso se interrumpen sus designios para nosotros. Sus misericordias no alcanzan a los que no están dispuestos a aceptarlas.
Pero aún asà somos valiosos para Dios, porque el sigue amándonos aun cuando no le prestemos atención. TodavÃa nos ve como personas de gran valor. No es de sorprenderse entonces que el salmista escribiera: Cuán preciosos me son, oh Dios, tus pensamientos! Cuán grande es la suma de ellos! Si los enumero, se multiplican más que la arena; Despierto, y aún estoy contigo (Salmo 139:17-18). Dios no es un monarca celestial cruel e indiferente. El siente nuestras aflicciones. El comparte nuestros dolores. El se interesa por sus criaturas, nos ama y considera que cada uno de nosotros es muy importante.
En realidad, el nos ama tanto que dio a su Hijo unigénito para que muriera por nuestros pecados. La Biblia dice: En esto consiste el amor: no en que nosotros hayamos amado a Dios, sino en que él nos amó a nosotros, y envió a su Hijo en propiciación por nuestros pecados (1 Juan 4:10).
Por cuanto usted y yo somos importantes para Dios, el quiere perdonarnos y darnos una vida plena y significativa. Cuando confiamos en Jesucristo y le permitimos que ponga en orden nuestra vida, la Biblia dice que llegamos a ser hechura suya, creados en Cristo Jesús (Efesios 2:10). Puede alguien ser más importante que eso? Somos la obra maestra de Dios!
SÃ, usted es valioso para Dios! Si nunca ha confiado en Jesucristo para su salvación, hoy puede aceptar su amor por usted.
Dios lo considera a usted tan importante que no lo obligará a que acepte su amor. Usted tiene que decidir por sà mismo si lo recibe o no. A todos los que le recibieron, a los que creen en su nombre, les dio potestad de ser hechos hijos de Dios (Juan 1:12).
