St. George And St. Michael V3 is a novel written by George MacDonald. It is set in the 17th century during the English Civil War and follows the lives of two families who are on opposing sides of the conflict. The story centers around two main characters, a young man named Ralph and a young woman named Dorothy. Ralph is a Royalist who fights for King Charles I, while Dorothy is a Puritan who supports the Parliamentarians. Despite their opposing views, Ralph and Dorothy fall in love and struggle to reconcile their differences. Along the way, they encounter many challenges and obstacles, including betrayal, imprisonment, and death.
