My aim in this storyline is to simplify the definition and nomenclature of substance-dependency (addiction) as also few suggestions to uproot it from our system 'in-toto'.
Anything which disrupts your duties and responsibilities is preventable-dependency or addiction. Put in plain words, everything under the sun which alters your mood & thought-process is something you need to identify and work on, to eradicate from within.
Many would be surprised to know that media, (newspapers, magazines, television), android- gazing, binge-eating, along with the commonly known substances (alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling etc) are full-grown candidates for addictive behavior.
'In moderation' is the catchword here.
Permanent solution is your 'Spiritual standing' - When the vertical relationship with God is strong, vibrant and built on a rock, all the horizontal facets of life (Personal, professional, financial, social, physical) consequentially will be robust, hale, hearty and healthy.
