Most families have a funny uncle or a relative who once got tipsy at Christmas and danced on a chair. Nice try but Jeff operated on a whole different level.
Jeff didn't just make memories, he made headlines inside the living room. One minute he was buying matching leather jackets from a lad who knew a bloke. The next minute he was turning a family holiday into an emergency rescue mission involving a pedalo and three scousers.
He was the kind of man who thought water skiing looked easy, thought purple shampoo was just shampoo, and genuinely believed becoming a monk was one quick book away. He wasn't reckless, he just didn't seem to check whether gravity, logic or basic instructions applied to him.
Every story in this book actually happened. And yes, we are absolutely sure because we were there. Sometimes trying to stop him, other times just filming it in our heads for future evidence.
This is the story of a man who wasn't perfect, wasn't careful, and wasn't quiet... but somehow managed to make everyone who knew him feel loved, entertained, and slightly exhausted.
