When I was eight years old, something extraordinary happened to me. I was tackled to the ground in a neighbor's backyard during a football game. When I looked up and squinted in the sunlight, I saw the Creator Son shaped in the form of clouds holding a rod. He was big as a skyscraper and as real as I am alive today.
He pointed to me and said, In time, all will be right. I was dazed and proceeded to tell my friends, asking if they saw Him too. They said I was crazy and laughed at me. I was so frightened that I ran home to tell my Grandmother that I saw Him.
She said, I know you did, baby. She's the only person who knows me to my core and believes in my experiences with Him.
When I was 20 years old, it happened again when stationed in Israel on a Navy ship. I went overboard and had an out-of-body experience when I was submerged in the ocean. It was more like a dream as if I was unconscious.
God spoke to me this time and asked, How long will you ignore me?
I remember wondering why God had allowed me to live because, at that moment, I truly hated myself due to the sinful things I had done, which I will explain later in this book.
Fast forward to 12 years ago, on June 26th, 2011, at 10:48 am, when I was 36 years old and baptized for the first time. I remember what happened like it was yesterday. When I was dipped into the water by the Pastor, I had another out-of-body experience. I was above the lake and saw 200 people. This time when God came to me, I chose a different reaction. Instead of denying and forgetting about His message, I wanted to understand Him. From that moment on, God was in charge of my life and had a plan for me. Part of my mission was to send me forward with His message to reach all of you. I was supposed to use my experiences to enlighten you about the mistakes I've made to help you avoid making those same mistakes. I was also to treat all people with kindness, including myself.
