In preparing this commentary, the author have relied primarily upon two foundational works that represent the pinnacle of Islamic scholarship in Hadith commentary:
- Fath al-Bari by the great Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (d. 852 AH), the most comprehensive and authoritative commentary on Saheeh al-Bukhari.
- Sharh Saheeh Muslim by Imam al-Nawawi (d. 676 AH), an invaluable resource for understanding Hadith methodology and jurisprudence.
The author also relied on the book on called Tahbir al-Wariqat bi-sharh al-Thulathiyyat - a specialized work dedicated to explaining the Thulathiyaat.
These classical sources have provided the scholarly foundation upon which this humble effort is built, ensuring that the commentary remains rooted in authentic Islamic scholarship while making these precious narrations accessible to contemporary readers.
