Lisa had rescued the group trying to get into the secure facility half way between Hot Springs and Little Rock. Or at least that was how the history books would read. In truth it was her ass that needed to be pulled from the fire, as much as anyone else's.

Foul news had come, a quarter of a million zombies were headed straight for them and straight for Hot Springs. To turn and run would mean that invaluable supplies would be lost as Little Rock writhed with the undead bringing Hot Springs closer to its own demise. Running would also mean that the zombie army would grow all the way to the gates of their safe zone. Beating down that many of the undead would be problematic to say the least.

For Lisa, there was only one option, stand this pig of a quarter million undead up and kick it in the nuts. Live or die, the game was on and Lisa held all the cards.

War smiled, he had chosen well.
