Driver hypovigilance is the cause of several road accidents. Indeed, hypovigilance in drivers mainly manifests itself as a decrease in alertness with the appearance of various behavioral signals such as sluggish reactions, decreased reflexes, yawning, heavy eyelids, and difficulty keeping the head in a forward position relative to the field of vision. In this context, the aim of this study is to propose solutions for defining and characterizing hypovigilance in drivers. We have therefore proposed a non-invasive hypovigilance system based on the fusion of a set of visual cues.
