Tristia, meaning Sorrows, is a collection of poems in elegiac couplets by Ovid, in five books, written while he was in exile in Tomis. Likewise, Epistulae ex Ponto is a collection of letters in verse, in four books, written by Ovid during his exile on the Black Sea.
