About the Author:
Jahan Shahab is an author, international policy consultant, and former journalist with decades of research and field experience in Middle Eastern affairs and U.S. foreign policy. He holds degrees from Tehran University and Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). His work bridges historical insight and political analysis, and his previous publications include Grey Scent of Morning, a bilingual poetry collection.
