The Revolution left France spinning like a top. Kings gone. Governments collapsing and reforming. People arguing nonstop. Who could possibly bring order to this chaos?
Enter a short, ambitious general with a pointy hat: Napoleon Bonaparte.
Napoleon stands on a stool to look taller, giving orders with the confidence of someone twice his size. Soldiers cheer as cannons roll by. He might not look scary, but this little general has big plans. Napoleon rose to fame by winning battles. He was a master of strategy-like a kid who always beats you at chess, but with real cannons and armies.
Soon, crowds shouted his name as if he were a celebrity. The Revolution's wild chaos? Napoleon promised to control it.
But controlling France wasn't enough. No, Napoleon wanted Europe too and crowned himself Emperor in 1804 (yes, he literally put the crown on his own head-talk about confidence).
