The study titled Uses of BSU FM 89.9 on Students' Learning of Radio Production at Benue State University, Makurdi-Nigeria investigated how BSU FM 89.9 influences Mass Communication students' learning of radio production. Grounded in the Uses and Gratifications Theory, the study utilized both quantitative (survey) and qualitative (interviews) methods. Findings showed that students frequently access the studio to learn radio production, gain practical experience, and enhance professional skills. BSU FM 89.9 significantly enriches students' scripting, editing, and overall production skills, boosting academic performance and preparing them for media careers. However, challenges like scheduling conflicts, inadequate equipment, and limited studio space were noted. The study concluded that BSU FM 89.9 plays a crucial role in students' educational and professional development, recommending that the university invest in expanding and upgrading studio facilities to address these issues.
