All the manuscripts we have agree on 93% of the words in the Old Testament. Given centuries of opportunities for copying errors or deliberate doctrinal changes (2 Thes. 2:2), it's obvious that God miraculously preserved the 93% of His Words on which all manuscripts agree. The question of whether to use the King James Bible or a newer version boils down to deciding what to do about the 7% that are in dispute.

Do we accept the modernist view that 9,970 disputed words aren't important to God because all important doctrines are found in the 93%? Do we believe that, having preserved 93% of His Word, God didn't preserve the rest, leaving it to scholars to reconstruct the 7%? Or do we believe that God preserved 100% of the Words He wanted us to have in the Textus Receptus (TR), whose words have been available without interruption since apostolic times?

Claiming that all important doctrines are given in the 97% ignores the fact that using hidden manuscripts at all denies continuous preservation. Given centuries of hand-copying, we need the doctrine of preservation to have any confidence in Scripture. Saying that God preserved only 93% of His Words and lets scholars figure out the rest makes no sense, but that's the only way to accept bible versions based on non-TR manuscripts.

This issue shouldn't surprise anyone. Christians will fall away (Thes. 2:2-4) and stop walking in God's old paths (Jer. 6:16) by giving up ancient landmarks (Pr. 22:28) before the Antichrist is revealed. Satan, the father of lies, asked Yea, hath God said ... (Gen. 3:1) to deceive Eve by questioning God's Word in the Garden of Eden (1 Tim. 2:14). Satan has worked to deceive everyone about what God really said ever since.

Satan's servants have always denied the fact that Jesus is God and has always been God:

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. John 10:31-33

Westcott and Hort, who led the wave of new bible versions, were honest about their unbelief:

In matters of textual criticism, the Bible is to be treated like any other ancient book. No special considerations are to be made concerning its claims of inspiration or preservation. [emphasis added]

The continuous, unbroken Preservation of Inspired Scripture is an essential doctrine we gave up in the 1880s, even though Satan's servants Westcott and Hort told the truth about their unbelief! Modern scholars (2 Tim. 3:5-7) deny divine inspiration and deny divine preservation of God's Word. Their corrupt manuscripts throw doubt on Jesus' sinless perfection and suggest that His imperfect blood can't pay the price for our sins. Corrupted versions describe another Jesus (2 Cor. 11:4) who can't save anyone.

This book explains why the King James Bible is the path we should walk.
