Vidura, a prominent figure in the Mahabharata, was a highly revered statesman, known for his deep understanding of dharma and the righteous conduct. He was the prime minister of Hastinapur and a half-brother to Dhritarashtra and Pandu. Vidura's advice to Dhritarashtra, before the Mahabharata war, is known as Vidura Niti.
