Voices of the Aging and Family Health Policy: Muysga Indigenous Community of Chía, Cundinamarca-Colombia focuses on analyzing how aging and family health policies impact and are perceived by the Muysga Indigenous community of Chía, a community characterized by its rich cultural heritage and a deep connection with its environment and traditions. The relevance of this study lies in its ability to make visible the needs, experiences and perspectives of the elderly within their social environment, within the framework of public policies specifically designed for their integral wellbeing. These policies cover several dimensions: on the functional level, they focus on guaranteeing access to health services and support for maintaining physical autonomy; on the cognitive level, they promote programs for mental stimulation and prevention of neurodegenerative diseases; on the psychological level, they prioritize attention to mental health, addressing problems such as depression and social isolation; and, in the social sphere, they promote policies for inclusion, active participation and access to community support networks.
