The title alludes-ironically and tenderly-to the distant and almost illusory possibility that one of them might someday be touched by the promise of the Nobel Prize in Literature. For the members of La Tertulia, Stockholm is not a real destination but a symbol: a metaphor for writing without guarantees, sustaining the dignity of the craft even when recognition appears unreachable.
Through intertwined stories, irreparable losses, silent loyalties, and ethical tensions, the novel explores writing as an act of resistance, friendship as sustenance, and sacrifice as the inevitable cost of an authentic vocation.
