Wieland or The Transformation is a novel written by Charles Brockden Brown, first published in 1798. It is a gothic novel that tells the story of a family living in Pennsylvania in the late 18th century. The protagonist, Clara Wieland, is a young woman who is haunted by strange voices and visions.
