A way to get noticed in his little patch of nowhere in rural Texis. Although he hadn't realized it, he met the criteria for a galactic way station. This invites his first 'guest', though this being is not looking for trade or fuel, she is looking for a safe harbour. The clone warrior, the Rogue Erude Aszure Sil-ard-tna-she, and the most wanted being in the known universe. Made as the ultimate weapon against the unbeatable foe of the Everwar. No Erude clone is ever to engage with galactic life, as they are tools and nothing more.

Though this clone, one of billions, seeks what all females seek -a chance to reproduce -without understanding the desire herself, it becomes her singular driving force. Arriving on Earth, known to her as Terra-sol, she finds not only a harbour, but an unwitting primitive to manipulate into mating. Though it soon becomes clear that her mate is special, offering her more for her life than she ever imagined.
They soon have an offspring and attempt to navigate life together. As time passes, their way station draws a lot of attention from the rest of the Bi-stream Galactic Collective, being the only fringe band way station in the galaxy, and the furthest known collective world.
Peter, the human male who always kept to himself, and Sally, also known as Sil-ard-tna-she, the clone warrior who had to learn life from scratch, began to feel overwhelmed until they followed a distress call into an uncharted nebula and disappeared from this space.
Meanwhile, Sally's battle assistant, Ai, who has been left in charge of the IPT, tracks the loss of its master and her mate. Without knowing when, or if they'll return, they face the care of their master's small offspring and the operation of the IPT. Realising it must grow to accommodate its new task, it finds itself woefully unequipped. Saved by Peter's long-time employee Linda, who at first seems to meet her new role well, until she learns the truth. Now faced with a galaxy bigger than she can imagine and a hybrid being who may look like a little girl, and is the most gifted being in the galaxy, but is still the daughter of the Erude Worrier Sil-ard-tna-she, meaning her care requires some creative reasoning, testing her both physically and mentally.
