God is a good God, and God's goodness is abundant. Human beings were created to reflect a good God, and I believe that means abundance of blessings in all of our being-spirit, soul, and body. The abundant blessings of God heals us, restores us, and strengthens us in every area of our lives. God's will is that we be made whole in spirit, soul, and body. This is what I called the abundant life that Jesus has promised. The abundance of life as going beyond the ordinary. It represents more than enough. God has promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, but I believe there are blessings that exceed the bare necessities of life. God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask or think according to His riches in glory God created man from the dust of the earth that formed a body. He breathed into that body the breath of life, and man became a living soul. The soul consists of the will, mind, and emotions. Even after being redeemed by the blood of Jesus, man still has problems in life that affects the mind and emotions. For the soul to be made complete, redeemed, or healed, there must be healing of damaged emotions. This book will deal with the negative emotions of fear, worry, anger, anxiety, and stress. we will be looking at these issues from both a biblical as well as a medical and psychological point of view. Positive emotions such as joy, happiness, peace, and love will be discussed. There is also a discussion of the power of hope, optimism, and faith. Additionally, the power of forgiveness and thanksgiving will be studied that leads to a life of wholeness and abundance. There are chapters on the healing of the body, the renewing of the mind, and the power of the tongue. Words are powerful, as they can be the source of life or death. Man is a triune being: spirit, soul, and body. God's desire is for us to prosper, and be in health as our soul prospers. The first order of business is for the spirit to be redeemed, then the soul, and finally the complete redemption of the body. Our spirit is redeemed at conversion, when we confess the Lord Jesus Christ. Our spirit, which once was dead in trespasses and sins, is now redeemed by the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us to pray, Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. What is the will of God in heaven? It is wholeness, healing, and complete well-being. The Kingdom of God is also defined as righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. We live in the fullness of the Kingdom when we acknowledge the King of the Kingdom and follow His commands. Presently, for the believer, our spirit is intact and needs no further redemption. However, there is certainly room for spiritual growth that leads to spiritual maturity. So, it appears that the major issue of working out our salvation is through the restoration and complete healing and redemption of the soul. If we're sick, there is healing, but there is also the principle of divine health. Jesus said when you see certain signs, look up, for your redemption draws nigh. That final redemption is the final phase of the salvation of the body when mortality gives way to immortality. May we pursue the fullness of what God has promised us--wholeness of the complete man--spirit, soul, and body.
