You caught my eye

This is a story of a girl who moves to NYC with her best friend. They get into a little trouble in a bar and the paramedic that comes to rescue her falls in love with her. They take on-line college courses together to better their future. He makes her call home to make-up with her parents. Her friend gets some very bad news. It is a feel good book with some adventures and life problems.
