The Young Muscovite V2: Or The Poles In Russia is a novel written by Mikhail Nikolaevich Zagoskin and first published in 1834. The story takes place in Russia during the 17th century and follows the life of a young Muscovite named Ivan, who is raised by a Polish family after being orphaned at a young age. Ivan grows up to become a loyal servant of the Polish family, but as tensions rise between Russia and Poland, he finds himself torn between his loyalty to his adoptive family and his love for his country. The novel explores themes of identity, loyalty, and national pride, and provides a vivid portrait of life in Russia during this turbulent period. This second volume of the series continues the story of Ivan as he navigates the complex political and social landscape of 17th century Russia. In Two Volumes. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
