With the help and encouragement of her parents and her best friends, Zoe-Marie comes to understand that moving and change are not necessarily bad. In the end she finds a way to face her upcoming move with generosity, optimism, and enthusiasm.
This book teaches children that change can sometimes be good and that in some situations they have the power to turn what they perceive will be a negative change into a positive experience by keeping an open mind and giving the new situation a chance, by waiting to see what happens.
