The promotion of agricultural entrepreneurship is part of the emphasis placed on supporting students and rural communities in Burkina Faso in the fields of education, training and local development. It is in this context that the Swiss Cooperation has supported the educational community of the CEG de Bassemyam in promoting entrepreneurship in the school environment. How have these initiatives encouraged the development of agricultural entrepreneurship within the CEG of a rural commune? The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the promotion of agricultural entrepreneurship in the rural commune of Komsilga, in particular at the CEG of Bassemyam. The aim of the study is to identify the specific measures taken by the Swiss Cooperation to support agricultural entrepreneurship, and also to examine the impact of the results of this Cooperation on students, on the one hand, and local authorities, on the other.
