This research is carried out under an exploratory, non-experimental and descriptive methodological approach in the Department of Administrative and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Sonora, and its objective is to determine the impact of the use of artificial intelligence tools in the teaching-learning processes in higher education, which allows transforming both the way in which students acquire knowledge and the teaching methods used by teachers. The results reflect the self-perception of AI in education, highlighting its advantages and applications. For university teachers, AI is seen as a powerful tool with the potential to transform teaching and learning processes. We conclude the importance of designing learning environments that integrate pedagogical strategies and information and communication technologies (ICT) based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help build improvement processes as a support for interaction between teachers and students, creating an environment conducive to knowledge and learning.
