Political education is interested in transport policy in the context of political education/education in the context of economic exchange processes and the participation of people in socio-cultural mediation processes. In this context, regional education lends itself as a pedagogical mediation process. The study is therefore divided into Part 1 as basic knowledge on transport policy and Part 2 on regional education as pedagogical implementation.Transport policy includes all measures of the state, in connection with common policies of the European Union/EU, which are related to the overcoming of spatial distances and thus facilitate the various factors of a livelihood. The objects of transport policy are the transportation of people and goods, all services associated with the exchange and transmission of information and messages. A functioning transport system with an infrastructure is of major importance to society as a whole.
