Accompanying an exhibition of Riley's work at Karsten Schubert, London, the studies explore the results of setting circles of colours - such as turquoise, cerise and ochre - at different distances. The works are accompanied by an interview with the artist by Robert Kudielka from 1972, just following the creation of these works.
