Ringu Tulku Rinpoche's commentary on the shortest and most popular Chenrezig sadhana that was composed by Thangtong Gyalpo.

Chenrezig - or Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit - is the name of the bodhisattva who is regarded as the Lord of Compassion or the embodiment of compassion. Chenrezig practice is done in order to develop our own compassion. From the Buddhist point of view, we can try to generate compassion through changing or re-thinking our attitude and working on our way of perceiving things. Then there's another way, which is the one I will mainly explain here, and that is through feeling; it's an experiential, emotional approach.
