吾非學文，亦從未認真學過平仄及音韻格調，不曾登堂，何敢言詩詞！然歌謎詞賦，平素所愛，惜指引乏人，只靠自行摸索，未諳創作之道。七十歲退休前，因工作忙碌，無暇他顧，偶有吟咏習作嘗試，均隨寫隨棄，並未收藏留稿。今年七十將四矣，教研生涯完全結束，東風重拂，白髮逢春，野翁心熱，始與和余背景相同數同窗友好對古典文學有興趣者互相唱和，聊志訴情，再興詩詞之念，又憶錄舊作及記咏昔年往事感懷，重握斑管，輯成此集，以留紀念。明知雪泥鴻爪，轉眼無痕，然敝帚之賞，亦可解老年一時之悶，親朋後人翻閱，權作念我。如此而已，豈有他哉？
