The Chimera Registry is a provocative bio-punk thriller that explores the shifting boundaries of identity in an age of genetic totalism. The protagonist, Kaelen, is a high-level Chimera whose hyper-adaptability and sensory enhancements make them a premier operative for survival in the world's most hostile environments. Kaelen has always believed their unique traits were a gift of parental selection-until the glitches begin.
Gaps in memory and sudden shifts in temperament reveal a terrifying truth: Kaelen's genetic sequence was never a mosaic of animal traits, but a secret, experimental project known as the Trinity Protocol. Their DNA is a biological fusion of three distinct historical figures, and as Kaelen's body matures, these three dormant consciousnesses are waking up.
As the internal battle for a single identity intensifies, Kaelen is forced into a race against their own deteriorating mind. They must navigate a landscape of corporate conspiracy and genetic ownership to find the original project creators-the only people capable of stabilizing their sequence.
