Het Sefer Bamidbar, of Boek der Getallen, is het meest actuele en ethische van de vijf boeken waaruit de Thora bestaat. Het bevat weinig bekende en onderwezen verhalen, verhalen waarin we prijzenswaardige en laakbare houdingen en gedragingen zien die inherent zijn aan ieder mens, of hij nu rechtvaardig is of niet. Een van de belangrijkste thema's van Bamidbar is de menselijke ethiek die door de Thora wordt onderwezen, waardoor iedereen werkelijk een leven van voortdurende Avodat Hashem kan leiden.
Het werk SHA'AREI TORAH is niet bedoeld om het Boek Numeri letterlijk te behandelen of de verhalen ervan te verduidelijken, maar om via grote wijzen, de Talmoed en de Zohar een interpretatie te geven die verder gaat dan het gebruikelijke. Het rechtstreeks aanpakken van het eenvoudige begrip dat door een eenvoudige lezing wordt overgebracht, is de ware sleutel tot succes bij het leren van de Torah. Een van de belangrijkste factoren die dit werk hebben geïnspireerd, is het gebrek aan leringen over het boek Numeri. Een groot deel van de literatuur die hier wordt behandeld, zoals de commentaren van de grootste wijzen, is nooit vertaald en is alleen in het Hebreeuws te vinden, net als de Talmoed en de Zohar, die voor het grootste deel alleen in het Aramees te vinden zijn. Deze inspiratiebronnen, die zeer goed bewaard zijn gebleven en waarvan de leringen achter slot en grendel worden bewaard, zullen de basis vormen voor alles wat in dit werk aan de orde komt.
De manier waarop dit boek is samengesteld, volgt de midrasjische vorm van bijbelonderwijs, die tot doel heeft de Thora te onderwijzen door middel van uitleg en leringen op basis van verzen uit de parasjiot. Aangezien er maar weinig werken zijn die de inhoud en thema's van dit boek in westerse talen behandelen, heeft dit werk tot doel de kennis van de Thora uit te breiden naar diegenen die door taalbarrières beperkte toegang hebben tot een diepgaand begrip van het Goddelijke Woord.
Sha'arei Torah, Poorten van de Torah - Numeri 2 belicht de goddelijke woorden van het boek Numeri op een mystieke en spirituele manier, waarbij de leringen altijd worden teruggebracht naar het menselijk gedrag. Dit werk volgt de rabbijnse vorm van uitleg van de Chumash. Er zullen commentaren worden gegeven op de verzen van de Parashat Nasso.
