I wanted to write a short book on how to be a successful, kind, and a good leader. It's not rocket science. I also wanted to show what not to do the bad leader. In today's world there are so many horrible leaders in every field it can be quite distressing. They poison the landscape, kill motivation, destroy trust, and make the workplace a toxic environment to say the least. But, there is hope if you follow some basic and simple techniques, behaviors, and practices. If you do this you will foster trust, build respect, nurture appreciation, and empower the very people that can make your organization great. Being a great leader can get your employees engaged in the vision and mission and produce profits beyond you're expectations. And the results can be quite substantial regarding increased business results and operating at peak competitiveness. Some may say well, this is just common sense, and that's true, but that very statement begs the question than why isn't everyone doing it, because they are not.
