Volume 7.1 of Michael Müller's catalogue raisonné is the first volume highlighting the artist's activity as a curator. It focuses on the exhibition series Deine Kunst
at the Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg, which he curated from 2019-22.

In 2019, Müller had been
invited to make a personal selection from the Städtische Galerie's
collection and present the works to the public over the next few years.
The artist and curator decided against staging a single exhibition;
instead, he elected to present the collection in five successive
versions and changing contexts, each focusing on different content and
form. The individual versions were somewhat eccentric, and Müller staged
them in a way extremely suggestive of an artwork - the curator even
gradually transformed the exhibition spaces, down to the smallest
detail.
Band 7.1 des Werkverzeichnisses von Michael Müller ist der erste Band, der sich mit der kuratorischen Arbeit des Künstlers beschäftigt. Im Mittelpunkt steht die von ihm 2019-22 kuratierte Ausstellungsreihe Deine Kunst in der Städtischen Galerie Wolfsburg, die sowohl eine Neupräsentation der Sammlung als auch eine künstlerische Intervention darstellte.
Müller wurde 2019 eingeladen, eine persönliche Auswahl aus der Sammlung der Städtischen Galerie zu treffen und die Werke über die nächsten Jahre für die Öffentlichkeit zu inszenieren. Der Künstler und Kurator entschied sich, nicht nur eine Ausstellung zu zeigen, sondern die Sammlung in fünf aufeinanderfolgenden Versionen und wechselnden Kontexten zu präsentieren, die unterschiedliche inhaltliche und formale Schwerpunkte setzen. Die einzelnen Versionen waren teilweise exzentrisch und äu erst werkhaft kuratiert - selbst die Ausstellungsräume wurden von Müller nach und nach bis ins kleinste Detail verändert.
