His House In Order is a comedic play written by Arthur Wing Pinero in 1907. The play is divided into four acts and follows the story of a wealthy politician named Robert Chiltern, who is blackmailed by an old acquaintance over a past financial scandal. Chiltern's wife, Gertrude, is also involved in the scandal, and the couple must navigate the consequences of their actions while trying to maintain their social status and reputation. Along the way, the play explores themes of morality, honesty, and the corrupting influence of power.
