I am a voter in India and I have a feeling that I can change the face of India when my million brothers, my country men will join me in my thought . We have our constitution due to which we enjoy the air of liberty, equality and fraternity. This is only a political achievement. We will be free only when we, the votes take the central position in all activities in India. Our mind, body and soul are to be convinced that we can take all major decisions in running our country. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is known to the world as a revolutionary who fought with the most powerful empire of his time with his simple weapons of truth and non-violence, though nobody would believe this today. For Indians he is their Bapu, the Father of the Nation because he brought them freedom and independence.
As time passes he has remained only as a character in history. even Indians in new generation only remember him at the time of an all India examination.it is a pity ! I am sad. I feel unfortunate because I am born before freedom but have never met him nor seen him. I could know something about him only from books .
He has been my hero, my guru and my model in life. The more I read about him the more I love him. I have a sentimental relationship with him. This book may reflect a part of my sentiment.
The book consists of five chapters. Chapter 1 talks about how when public slept lords of devastation arose. Chapter 2 deals with great people who struggled for liberty of people. Chapter 3 deals with how trust of leaders is developed. Chapter 4 gives various examples of people who thought of reconstruction. Chapter 5 is an essay on author's loud thinking about how the citizens of a free country think and behave to evolve the right government. GOOD GOVERNMENT IS NOTHING BUT THE PRODUCT OF THEIR VIGILANCE AND DESIRE
