Le parole hanno una grande importanza quando bisogna spiegare argomenti delicati e al contempo di forte impatto. Ma quando di fronte ci sono dei bambini, con la loro ingenuità , la loro voglia di apprendere e quella dose massiccia di curiosità , queste assumono un ruolo fondamentale.
E così... ogni tema della lezione viene trasformato in un gioco ed ecco che si parla di emozioni, di diversità , di fede, di legalità , di rispetto per gli altri e per sé stesso e di tanto ancora.
In questi anni ho scritto tante storie e narrato tante avventure dando vita a molti personaggi interessanti e a volte scomodi.
Ad un certo punto è arrivato Teo con la sua dolcezza e la spiccata sensibilità . Rileggere le sue avventure è sempre una continua scoperta... anche per me! Non so quanto queste storie possano cambiare le cose che ci circondano... di sicuro, con loro, un po' sono cambiato io...
Ho chiesto ai suoi alunni della quinta A della scuola primaria di raccontarmi una lezione del loro maestro Teo.
Una giornata come tante può diventare unica.
Quella che stai per leggere è proprio una giornata, come tante, in aula con il maestro Teo.
Il Diritto al nome e all'identità per tutti i bambini e le bambine, come altri Diritti, è sancito dagli articoli 7 e 8 della Convenzione Onu sui diritti dell'Infanzia che fu approvata il 20 novembre 1989.
Articolo 7
Il fanciullo è registrato immediatamente al momento della sua nascita e da allora ha diritto a un nome, ad acquisire una cittadinanza e, nella misura del possibile, a conoscere i suoi genitori e a essere allevato da essi.
Gli Stati parti vigilano affinché questi diritti siano attuati in conformità con la loro legislazione nazionale e con gli obblighi che sono imposti loro dagli strumenti internazionali applicabili in materia, in particolare nei casi in cui, se ciò non fosse fatto, il fanciullo verrebbe a trovarsi apolide.
