Do as much good as you can, to as many as you can, as many as $you can, as often as you can. People everywhere, bear the burden of misery and suffering, lighten their loads, carry their burdens for them! Help as many as you can, to lift their load on the rough road of life. The day on which you have not helped a brother here, a sister there, is a lost day indeed.
Swami Vivekananda tells us that this earth is called Karma-bhoomi- the sphere of Karma. If this be so, then it is up to us to choose or bad or good Karma. Thus, the world offers us the best chance to work out our own Karma, and evolve towards perfection. This is why human life is regarded as the greatest gift- it offers us the opportunity to perfect ourselves.
All of us promote good karma in our day-to-day life simply by performing acts of goodness, kindness, compassions, and love. We must endeavor in every possible way to serve God in humanity- indeed, in all creation. All actions that are born out of goodwill, understanding, compassion and selfness are good Karma. When you perform such actions, they bring you peace and joy.
